Sherwood PTA invites you to an evening out of the house, playing games with your family and friends!
Join us in Sherwood Cafeteria on Tuesday, January 9th from 6:00-8:00 for Family Game Night. Games are all quick to pick up and learn, have simplified instructions, and can be played at your own pace. Most games can be played by non-readers. A must check-out game is Family Feud with answers supplied by Sherwood 3-6 graders. Other games include Outburst, Double Ditto, Reverse Charades, Headbandz, Yahtzee, Taboo Jr, Uno, Jenga, Apples to Apples, and more! This is a food-free event, and there will be nothing to purchase. If you have any games to share, especially jumbo sized, please message kwpaul13@gmail.com.

![]() We’ve had a great first week of Penny Wars as we support families in our community this holiday season for 9United’s Shop & Share event. Just a reminder, pennies are positive points for each grade, where all silver coins and dollar bills are negative points. A fun and healthy competition for our students! Which grade will take home the bragging rights this year? Collections will continue through Tuesday, December 5. Sherwood is proud to support this project as we “help take care of others” with a focus on giving, in whatever way you can. Additional Ways to get involved today:
Questions about 9United and this project can be directed to the organization’s founders, Amy Miller or Jen Schlosser. Have specific questions about Sherwood’s involvement & want to get more involved in this great cause, contact Sherwood parent, Stacy Gillard. It's a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Reading for pleasure inside and outside of school has real and long-lasting benefits. It unlocks the power of information and imagination and helps children discover who they are. Students love this annual event where proceeds benefit the Sherwood PTA. Students will be previewing the book fair and making wish lists, so be on the lookout for information coming home the week of November 20. Book fair dates:
