All FHSD parenst are highly encouraged to attend "Staying Safe in a Digtally Connected World." This workshop is being offered on January 25 at 7 p.m. in the Nagel Cafetorium.
In this workshop, you'll learn about the current trends your child will or is using online and how to stay safe.
Speakers include Stephen Smith from Cincinnati Bell and Mary Moore, a Common Sense Media certified educator.

The FHSD Science Fair will be held Feb. 4 at Nagel Middle School. Students should refer to the resources below for more information and to register. The registration deadline is Dec. 16.can learn more about the judging process and register to judge here.

During conferences, come shop the Scholastic Book Fair in the Media Center. Students love this annual event where proceeds directly benefit Sherwood. Students will be previewing the Book Fair and making wish lists during their weekly library time, so please be on the lookout for information coming home the week of November 7th. This is a great opportunity to start your holiday shopping and to support Sherwood!

Start gathering your Box Tops! Grades will compete to gather the most Tops for an opportunity to have Mr. “DJ” Hamilton provide jams during lunch!
Tops can be submitted in a Ziploc bag or taped to a Box Tops sheet. Make sure to write your child’s name and grade on the bag or sheet! Contest ends October 14th.
Please make sure to remove any expired Tops. We are not able to submit them if they have expired
so this will help with processing the Tops submission.

Spanish by World of Spanish starts Monday, Sept 26 for all grades.
Dance by Performing Arts, Inc. is offering hip hop & ballet classes. Fun starts Wednesday, Sept 14 for all grades.
Young Rembrandts Drawing starts Wednesday, Sept 28 for all grades.
Kidz Home Alone is Wednesday, Sept 28 and Oct 5. This is for kids in 4-6th grade.
Quickness Speed Agility Training begins on Friday, Oct 21 and runs until Nov 18. This program is for grades 2 to 6.
Starglazers Pottery runs from Oct 3-24 and is for all grades.
