This year the PTA has organized a wide variety of before and after school enrichment programs to make the most of your child's time at Sherwood.
To see what we have to offer this year, download the PDF booklet.
Scholarships are available for FHSD students. Please contact the school counselor Lisa Suttman at email@example.com for more information.
Bring your family up to Sherwood for a night of activity, movement and fun.
The Sherwood Fuel Up to Play 60 wellness team is hoping to promote an active lifestyle at the 3rd Annual Family Fitness Night on Thursday, March 2, from 6 until 7:30 p.m.
We will have games, obstacle courses, relay races, dancing, and more! The night is FREE and full of fun!
Still holiday shopping for your Sherwood student? How about some Sherwood spirit wear!
Spirit wear includes t-shirts (long & short), sweat shirts, tye dyes, stickers/magnets, and beanies.
Orders are due by Thursday, December 15th.
Either send orders, along with cash or check (payable to Blackout Tees), to school to the attention of SPIRITWEAR, c/o Kim Noe, or drop them off at Blackout Tees, formerly Sports Connection, at 7751 Five Mile.
As with all Spiritwear orders, we do not deliver to school. You will be called when your order is ready for pick up at Blackout Tees.

Questions? Please contact Kim Noe.
On Tuesday, October 25th, the first 6th grade activity for all of the Forest Hills elementary schools will take place at Beechmont Rollarena from 6:30-8:30 pm.
In order for your child to attend, you must fill out and return a permission slip & an emergency release form by October 20th. No student will be allowed to skate without both completed.
We need a total of six adult volunteers for the event. Ideally, that would include at least two male volunteers. Please sign up here to volunteer.
This event is for 6th graders only. There is no cost involved—admission and skate rental is included in your 6th grade activity fee (no refunds).
Please plan to carpool to the event, if possible. The more we can do to eliminate congestion, the better! Finally, your child should plan to wear their *new* Sherwood 6th grade t-shirt which will be distributed soon!
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your kid is wondering what's for main dish (mine always is), here's a link to the October lunch menu PDF.

Start gathering your Box Tops! Grades will compete to gather the most Tops for an opportunity to have Mr. “DJ” Hamilton provide jams during lunch!
Tops can be submitted in a Ziploc bag or taped to a Box Tops sheet. Make sure to write your child’s name and grade on the bag or sheet! Contest ends October 14th.
Please make sure to remove any expired Tops. We are not able to submit them if they have expired
so this will help with processing the Tops submission.
