![]() We’ve had a great first week of Penny Wars as we support families in our community this holiday season for 9United’s Shop & Share event. Just a reminder, pennies are positive points for each grade, where all silver coins and dollar bills are negative points. A fun and healthy competition for our students! Which grade will take home the bragging rights this year? Collections will continue through Tuesday, December 5. Sherwood is proud to support this project as we “help take care of others” with a focus on giving, in whatever way you can. Additional Ways to get involved today:
Questions about 9United and this project can be directed to the organization’s founders, Amy Miller or Jen Schlosser. Have specific questions about Sherwood’s involvement & want to get more involved in this great cause, contact Sherwood parent, Stacy Gillard.

Break out the PJs - it's time for the annual Sherwood Holiday Breakfast and Market.
On Saturday, December 2, you and your Archer can enjoy a morning of festive fun hosted by the PTA. For the bargain price of $3 per person, paid ahead of time, your family will enjoy breakfast and a photo with Santa. The famous Sherwood Holiday Market will be in full swing in the gym. This gives your mini a chance to buy presents for all those important folks on their list. RSVP forms went home with kids on November 14. Just fill out the form and send in your payment by Monday, November 27. At the door, the price goes up to $4 per person. While you are at it, fill out the other side of the form for your chance to enter the Sherwood raffle. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and the prizes are fantastic. Send in your payment and get your tickets at breakfast. Still holiday shopping for your Sherwood student? How about some Sherwood spirit wear!
Spirit wear includes t-shirts (long & short), sweat shirts, tye dyes, stickers/magnets, and beanies. Orders are due by Thursday, December 15th. Either send orders, along with cash or check (payable to Blackout Tees), to school to the attention of SPIRITWEAR, c/o Kim Noe, or drop them off at Blackout Tees, formerly Sports Connection, at 7751 Five Mile. As with all Spiritwear orders, we do not deliver to school. You will be called when your order is ready for pick up at Blackout Tees. Click HERE to download the order form. Questions? Please contact Kim Noe. Happy Holidays! ![]() Enjoy a morning of festive fun hosted by the PTA! Our holiday PJ breakfast is Saturday, December 3 from 8:30 to until noon. Stop by the school to pick up a tag from our Giving Tree.
![]() Tis the Season... The Breakfast with Santa and Santa Shop will be coming to Sherwood and your help is needed! This is one event that can not happen without a lot of Santa's Helpers. It's a ton of fun and something for everyone. The 6th grade elves will be assigned stations separately, so no need to register them. We need adult helpers as cashiers, gift wrappers, craft helpers, food servers, & organizers. Can't help on Saturday, that's okay; we need help on Friday to set up. Please lend a helping hand. Check out the sign up page and find what suits you. |
