If you are considering volunteering at Sherwood or attend field trips, the school strongly encourages you get fingerprinted. Becoming fingerprinted allows for greater flexibility when working with students at Sherwood and it's easy to do.
All you need to do is go to the FHSD main office at it's new location at 7946 Beechmont Ave between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
If your child has lost a few jackets this school year, they are not alone.
In his weekly email to parents, Mr. Hamilton said the Sherwood Lost & Found is starting to look like Mt. Everest.
He encouraged students to look for their items before or after school or during lunch.
After the holiday break, admin plans to donate the remaining items.
In his weekly letter to parents, Mr. Hamilton said that he is outlawing Pokemon cards at Sherwood.He said he noticed the cards were beginning to interfere school activities.
If your child brings them to school they will be asked the first time to place them in their backpacks to take home. After that, they will remain in the office until a parent will comes to collect them.
Mr. Hamilton suggested that parents should check their backpacks to avoid any unnecessary trips to school.
